01 — Copy the public Instagram link
Open the Instagram post or Reel you want to save and copy its URL. InstaGrab currently accepts Instagram and supported Instagram subdomain URLs over HTTPS.

The workflow is deliberately short. You provide a supported public Instagram URL and InstaGrab handles the media retrieval on the server, so you can download available videos and Reels online without a login.
02 — Paste it into the downloader
Paste the URL on the home page and choose Download. The browser sends the URL to the InstaGrab API; you do not enter an Instagram username or password.
03 — We retrieve available media
The backend uses its extraction and media-resolution methods to look for media that is publicly available from the supplied URL. Different Instagram post types can behave differently.
04 — Download the result
When media is found, InstaGrab returns a download link and a preview where appropriate. Reels and videos are downloaded from the available source media without InstaGrab adding a watermark. Multi-item posts can be packaged as one ZIP file.
A successful result depends on what Instagram makes accessible at the time of the request. A public URL is not a guarantee that media can always be retrieved.
