PRIVACY

Keep the details small.

This page explains what InstaGrab handles when you use the public-link downloader.

1. What you provide

You provide an Instagram URL when you use the downloader. InstaGrab needs that URL to attempt media retrieval.

2. Login credentials

InstaGrab does not ask for your Instagram password, Instagram session, or account login. Do not paste passwords, cookies, or other credentials into the URL field.

3. Temporary media processing

When a download is requested, the backend may create a temporary job folder containing retrieved media and a generated ZIP for a carousel. Jobs are designed to expire after approximately 60 minutes, after which the cleanup process removes the job folder. Temporary files can also disappear sooner when the hosting instance restarts.

4. Technical request data

The backend uses the connecting client address in memory for a short-window request-rate limiter. The hosting provider may also process ordinary infrastructure data such as request logs, timestamps, and network information according to its own policies.

5. Cookies and tracking

InstaGrab does not require an account or first-party login cookie. The site may load fonts from Google Fonts. Any future analytics or advertising services will have their own data practices and will be documented before they are introduced.

6. Third-party services

Media retrieval depends on Instagram and the hosting/extraction infrastructure used by InstaGrab. Their availability, policies, and technical behavior are outside InstaGrab's control.
